City of Bones starts with a bang and it doesn't stop there. The entire book was a thrill ride filled with tons of amazing twist and turns.

The book is about a girl named Clary who discovers these people called Shadow Hunters. The Shadow Hunters kill demons and stuff like that. Then, Clary's mom disappears and the adventure begins. (Okay, so that was a TOTALLY lame summary. The book is great so don't judge it on my lame summary. It's just so hard to summarize!)

The plot is fast-paced and brilliant in every possible way. The writing was great, the way Cassandra Clare describe things carefully and in detail and the characters were amazing. If the characters were any more well written I would literally explode. The book was actually very humorous too and there was some romance that was interesting.
